Mom’s Winter Fruit Salad

As a child, during the holiday season, I can remember getting fresh oranges from our Mom’s aunt in Florida.
Mom used those oranges to prepare this fruit salad, which had been a traditional recipe during her childhood as well.
It’s light and refreshing and tastes delicious with or without the coconut!
You’ll need:
Oranges
Apples
Bananas
Shredded coconut (Fresh or dried)
Increase your fruit according to amount you wish to make. 1 large orange, 1 large apple and 1 banana makes approximately 2 servings.
Peel, core and slice the apples into thin pieces. Slice oranges lengthwise, removing peels and any seeds. Slice bananas. In a serving dish gently mix together fruit. Sprinkle with shredded coconut.

Enjoy!
